HU-GO changes from 1 January 2024!

The changes will affect all elements and actors of the HU-GO system, and as such:

- the elements of the toll (external cost charge, infrastructure charge) and the method of toll calculation will change,

- the number of toll sections will be expanded,

- a new vehicle category for vehicles with five or more axles and several new emission classes (low emission, zero emission) will be introduced,

- toll payment options will change significantly (e.g. customers will only be able to top up their balances and purchase route tickets electronically on hu-go.hu, with in-person top-ups and purchases using cash no longer available)

- billing rules will be amended, and

- the HU-GO user interface will also change.

In view of the extent, number and complexity of the changes, please monitor our constantly updated and expanding information notice, which is available on our website at toll-charge.hu under the Changes 2024 menu item (E-toll/Changes 2024).

From this point on, official information on the e-toll system will be provided on the official website of NTPS Plc. at toll-charge.hu, while the hu-go.hu site will be used exclusively for toll payment-related administration, HU-GO current account management, balance top-ups and route ticket purchases.

In order to prevent unauthorized road use and possible toll fines, we kindly ask all our customers to complete the actions that are possible in December 2023 in their HU-GO profile by the end of the month.
