We inform our customers that the development of the HU-GO e-toll and e-vignette sales system of the The National Toll Payment Services Plc. (NTPS Plc.) ended on January 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.

The technical settings affecting our customers using the on-board unit (OBU) are still in progress, we ask for your patience.

We inform our customers that the HU-GO e-toll and e-vignette sales system of the The National Toll Payment Services Plc. (NTPS Plc.) is not available.
Our employees have started performing tasks related to the continuous provision of the service, and are working to complete the development as soon as possible. There is no place to impose a surcharge in the e-vignette system for the duration of the service outage and the 60 minutes after that, and NTPS Plc. has taken the necessary measures in the HU-GO system to avoid wrongful sanctions. We accept the e-toll declaration of our customers driving with an on-board unit (OBU) afterwards. The HU-GO low balance notification service is temporarily suspended.

The usual sales services (e-vignette, HU-GO e-toll payment) will be temporarily unavailable between 8.00 p.m. on 31 December 2023 (Sunday) and 4.00 a.m. on 1 January 2024 (Monday) due to IT improvements in the toll payment system to be performed during the period referred to above.
This planned maintenance concerns both Customers travelling with e-vignettes (i.e. motorway vignettes) or route tickets, as well as those using on-board units. During this time, it will not be possible to purchase e-vignettes or route tickets, nor will it be possible to top up your HU-GO balance, neither on our sales portal nor via our partner resellers. The toll declarations of those travelling with an on-board unit – provided there is sufficient balance – will be accepted once maintenance is concluded.
The National Toll Payment Services Plc. (NTPS Plc.) hereby calls your attention to the fact that toll sections cannot be used without payment during the system development. We recommend you purchase your road use authorization (e-vignette or e-toll) prior to the maintenance period and taking into account the information communicated under Changes 2024 at toll-charge.hu by visiting NTPS Plc.’s online sales portal at toll-charge.hu and a hu-go.hu webpages, or one of our customer service points or reseller partners.
